Portrait Photographer Evie Ruddy
Evie Ruddy is a socially engaged interdisciplinary artist and digital storyteller based in Regina, SK. Their award-winning interactive web project with the National Film Board, Un/Tied Shoes, explores their genderqueer identity through footwear. Evie co-produced the audio walking tour Queering the Queen City, which features place-based stories told by queer, trans and Two-Spirit folks at sites throughout downtown Regina and the Heritage Community. They have been awarded a Transgender Media Lab PhD Fellowship, and will begin their PhD this fall in the Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art, and Culture at Carleton University.
UR Pride Centre for Sexuality and Gender Diversity
The UR Pride Centre for Sexuality and Gender Diversity is a non-profit 2SLGBTQIAP+ (Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual, Pansexual, and more) service provider housed at the University of Regina. UR Pride provides services and programming for the entire community of Regina, not just for the University of Regina, and is available to provide certain services to other communities in the Southern Saskatchewan region on request.
